Now, I knew it was slow but that's the least of my worries! If I try and alter the settings it won't let me load a rom unless I shut it down, which resets everything I changed, and when I do play one it won't quit unless I physically remove the battery! Where am I going wrong? The files I'm using are quite small, about half a meg ish.

I have the same problem sometimes with snes. I find the best thing to do is before opening snes - use taskmanager etc to close all non-system apps. I have heard that the emulators are just a bit unstable if memory gets too full.

I do this before opening them, & can play games up to 1.5mb usually with no problems. Although it still sometimes won't let me open another rom until I have restarted it! Bummer, but there you go!!

My apologese as far as SNES is concerned... it's a bit rubbish... hopefully if it performs better on faster smartphones in the future I might find the motivation to revisit it and make it a bit more reliable...

Of course if someone thinks it's worth the effort now all the source is available on my site and they could take it over :)
