having a bit of a problem could do with some help.

ive unlocked my friiends phone, ive downloaded smart explorer and installed it on my phone no problem at all, but when trying to instal it on my friends it lets me copy the cab to his memory card but wont let me create a short cut to the cab (which i would place in the accessories folder to start the instal)

Why don't you just put the cab in the accessories folder to start with ?? :roll:

You don't need to create a shortcut, just place the entire .cab in to

IPSMWindowsStart MenuAccessories as it's only a small file.

i tried putting it straight in the accessories folder it seemed to install ok but when you try to acces the installed file it says its not a valid windows ce application.

Sorry what I mean is to turn the phone off then on again.

Also are you sure the phone decerted correctly?

tried it and still no luck, i used orange site to unlock and received the message.
