Guest Zim Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 hey all just got back from watching the Hulk! and well it was dam right dissapointing! it took too long to start, and dragged on for too long! the effects were ok nothing too great, storyline.....well its the hulk what more can i say? anyway i felt my fiver for the ticket was a waste! anyone else got anything to say on it? Guest Martin@Home Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 I havn't seen it yet but its in my "must see" category so I really hope I'm not dissapointed by it as well ! One of the reasons I'm looking forward to it is cos I was such a fan of the original series and I noticed you are only 20 so probably missed them. I loved the new spiderman cos with the new innovations in special effects and stuff, it was great to see the character suddenly be bought to life and doing things that there just wasn't the technology to do in the original TV series's. Was hoping the hulk was gonna be the same ! Xmen & Xmen2 were crap though !
Guest amo Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 It sucks, most disappointing film ive ever seen and so untrue to the original series. The effects are so lame too, looks like they took animation done on a Sega Mega Drive and superimposed it onto the film. Total pants, savr yourself the fiver (or £3.70 if your a student like me :)) and watch something else!

Guest midnight Posted July 19, 2003 Report Posted July 19, 2003 errr, why are you basing the film on the old tv series????? it was never intended to be a remake of the tv series, but is meant to be more like the comic (hence the reason that it isnt david banner, but bruce who is the hulk, and also why they chose that rendering style on the hulk character....yes, its meant to look slightly cartoon-ish) the effects in this film are pretty good, the character is well made, interacts with the environment superbly, but all with a slight comic-look rendering style the story i thought was pretty good, which i wont mention cos some people may still wanna see this film

It is based on the Comic Book ( its a Marvel film god damit and the TV series wasnt ASFAIK) hence the cartoony effect - also his size! Chill out and take the film for what it is.
