Guest BlackHowling Posted July 15, 2003 Report Posted July 15, 2003 hi virgil when i try openning an mms sent by my friend, the phone displays Downloading Message but it fails and displays Transfer failed the file you attached was also a big help. i followed the instructions on configuring the gprs and mms. problem : i cant set up my email. from inbox, i pressed menu > Options > E-mail Setup but nothing happens. it's like email setup is disabled or something. any suggestions? thanks

I've also had the same error "transfer failed"...i just tried opening the message. for setting up your email...pls make sure of the following: 1. Email Account is active with in your ISP. (USERNAME/PASSWORD should be correct) 2. Account should support POP3 of IMAP4 (you may confirm w/ ISP). some ISP doesnt support POP3/IMAP4 servicing for FREE email accounts like yahoo/hotmail. 3. Mail Servers should correct (you may confirm w/ ISP) 4. Network used should be Internet 5.
