Guest James Posted July 15, 2003 Report Posted July 15, 2003 www.lastminute.com teletext that sort of thing mate........
Guest tobyfield Posted July 15, 2003 Report Posted July 15, 2003 For good value flights with lots of leg room try American Airlines. www.aa.com
Guest ashley.flynn Posted July 15, 2003 Report Posted July 15, 2003 when i go to DC and i want to book (significantly) in advance i use expedia.co.uk, they have never given me any problems at all! american airlines will usually turn out the cheapest, where are you trying to get to? i usually go to raleigh durham airport (rdu) nowadays because DC can be a nightmare!!!
Guest fraser Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I'd avoid US carriers, both because of their "cattle" reputation, and because US airlines are the most dangerous wrt the enemies the Yanks are making. Same too for the UK ones in this resepect. You are safer flying on another carrier, like KLM, and avoid dates like the 4th of July.
Guest jim Posted July 18, 2003 Report Posted July 18, 2003 www.expedia.co.uk Off to New York in a couple of weeks :)
Guest SeaneyC Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 If you're under 26, or a full-time student, www.statravel.co.uk has some good fares, although i find the shops much more helpful in finding cheap fares than the online search. Flew a multistop round the world effort a few years ago, and the price in store was much cheaper than the online cheapest price, and they threw in a free day tour and accomodation in NYC for 3 nights.
