Guest goosegog Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Woah! Love the new look to the forum. Nice Anyway, simple question, what's the headphone socket / jack plug size on the SPV? I want to buy a few to make various leads to plug into other headphones, phon leads, FM transmitter, cassette adapter etc... Can they be bought unwired like the other sizes can? Where from? Many thanks Ferg

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Have a look here for a rightangled type http://pc-mobile.net/spv.htm
Guest Sparkston Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 Hi everyone, this is my firstpost, so be gentle. I have just bough a 2.5mm to 3.5mm streo adapter from maplins for the princely sum of 79p, and it works a treat- I am listening to pink floyd through my PC's speakers as I type. Of course, the mic is shorted to ground as the stereo jack only has three poles (obviously), but I don't suppose that will harm the phone. What I'd really like is an adapter that allowed me to use a PC headset, i.e. one with two 3.5mm jacks. I have seen adapters on the net allowing you to use stereo headphones with a hands free mic, but this would then require a second adapter to allow the PC headset mic jack to be plugged into the hands free mic socket, which seems very inelegant. if I could find anywhere that sold four pole 2.5mm jacks, I could make the adapter myself, but no luck so far. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Sparkie
