Guest Simon Desser Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Through my music producing days, I got friendly with Robbie Williams' drummer, and consequently got invited to Amsterdam for the concert tomorrow. We met up with Chris, (the drummer) at their hotel and he got us into the little hotel bar where Robbie and his band etc. were hanging out. We sat with Robbie and had a nice long chat about music and stuff, and I have to say, he's a really nice guy and he made us feel very welcome. My Mrs gave him a kiss so she spent half the night on the phone telling all her mates! We're on the guest list for tomorrow night and are hopefully going to the after gig party. By the way, a few of the band members were quite interested in my Tanager when it rang and House of Pain came blasting out!
Guest Brody Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Classic, get Robbie signed upto MoDaCo!! I wonder what his username'd be? IHateGaryBarlow!!?
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 If Robbie wants a e100, let me know, and i'll speak to the guys in the Orange Media Centre... I can see it now, Robbie Williams endorses SmartPhone and MoDaCo... :-) P
Guest Will Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Robbie already endorses the new Smart Car, the smart fourfour.. it's in his video, and he will be in the adverts.. SIMON : IF the car is there . can you snap some shots of it?? Will
Guest smartphone-web.com Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 At the gig in mannheim( germany) there was no fourfour. They only played a video-ad for the car.
Guest fraser Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Mark Owen was on Graham Norton last night, and I noticed that they didn't mention Robbie once. Must have been part of the deal between his agents and the show!! :)
Guest Simon Desser Posted July 18, 2003 Report Posted July 18, 2003 Robbie already endorses the new Smart Car, the smart fourfour.. it's in his video, and he will be in the adverts.. SIMON : IF the car is there . can you snap some shots of it?? Will The car wasn't there but they played a short version of the advert. I've never seen an advert get a standing ovation  I know Robbie was given one of these cars, but as far as I know, he can't even drive :) (unless he's passed his test quite recently?) Here's a full version of the advert, encoded in Divx specifically for our Smartphones ;)Robbie Williams - Smart fourfour full advert.zip
Guest looeee Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 According to this week's (1st - 8th August) Heat magazine (and who could doubt the accuracy of reporting in such a fine publication), Robbie Williams DOES own an SPV. Disclaimer: I don't buy Heat magazine. It was my wife's. She doesn't buy it either. We found it in a sandwich shop. Honest looeee
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Now that would increase sales if that general knowledge, they could do a Beckham style take off :)
Guest fraser Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 God damn it, awarner, why did you have to mention that morons name here!! I thought this was a Beckham-free board? 8) Jeez, the guy isn't all that great a footballer, he's just got the Spice Girls PR crew onside and the whole country has fallen for him. Are most people brain dead or what? Besides, the English national side sucks. At least we Scot's know that we suck, we know (and admit) that we don't stand a chance, and we enjoy the outing neverless.
Guest Brody Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 hmm, how are we doing in the euro qualifying? :) ENGERLAND ENGERLAND ENGERLAND...!
