Guest FrankyG Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Hi, I was converting some audio tracks using mp3towma to WMA (windows media encoder 8 ) to 64kbs 44kHz mono, but they won't play on the SPV :?: It does support MONO..doesn't it? I've got a feeling that this might be more to do with having Windows Media player 9 on my PC, and also using WM encoder v8 for the conversion of mp3's. Has anyone else experienced this? ___ I just tried some other tracks on the SVP...and they play ok :!: :?: It must have been errors in the conversion process...and I don't have the source files to do it again. Just as well I burned them onto CD earlier just in case :-) I'm still interested though; can WM encoders 8 and 9 co-exist on the same PC? I also use DBPoweramp which gives you the choice of using WME8 or 9, but I'm not sure that it actually works..anyone? FrankyG
Guest madu Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 You sure it was NOT 48kHz? Coz I had same prob and failed to notice it's 48 :)
