This is a link from the main thread under news for those who want to use the hidden Links at the bottom of the home screen...but dont want to install the extras.

Add the links.jpg image to your IPSMApplication DataHomeModaco folder

Add the index.html to the IPSMApplication DataHome folder

BTW

(I modified the links for my use....open the index.html and edit them to your liking.)

Sorry...we figured that out on another thread.

I only started this one so I could post the file as the other thread was in news so excuse the cross-posting.

Hi all,

love the MoDaCo skin, just wanted to make a little tweak ...

I'm not a big gprs user and I think I remember someone saying you could link to phone numbers from html documents. Could someone post the html tag syntax that lets you do this, so I can turn the "secret" links page into a quick dial menu?

Thanks very much,

Joel

That is essentially what callface does. Try it out - it creates an html page where you assign pics to the phone number - so you get an explorer page with pics of your contacts - each one linked to a number. I have this running from a shortcut on my homescreen & it makes a great quick dial function straight from the homescreen with pics!!

Nice one DrBlow ... I guess that was where I heard about linking to numbers, I'll give it a try asap :)

Hi guys, another quick question ... could someone point out which bit of the modaco homescreen xml to change to make the all day appointment visible all the time? I'm trying to edit it in Orneta notepad which doesn't make it any easier!! I guess neither does my low understanding of how the xml plugins work

Cheers for any help,

Joel

p.s. sorry for the hijack!!
