Guest ruelsantos Posted July 19, 2003 Report Posted July 19, 2003 Hi all SPV Techies,, just want to ask how can i make a "GROUP" in my contact list. So that i will just select the "GROUP" instead of selecting individual contacts when sending mesages to many recipients. Please help.. thanks.

Guest tiger Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Activesync your SAP to Outlook then go to contacts. Click the the name of your contact then just below the screen you will see categories, click it then create your own or erase some.
Guest ppcsurfr Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Hmmm. putting the selection into a category is one... but sending out a message to all recipients all at once choosing only one contact is another. IA Caller ID has a better implementation of groups... This works up to a certain extent but the drawback is that when you recieve an SMS or a call, the group name shows instead of the actual sender or caller. All you have to do is put all the mobile phone numbers in the Mobile phone field... separated by a ";" for example, Mobile: 09181234567; 09171112223; 09201231234etc. Mabuhay! ~ Carlo
Guest Smartphilcon Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 ..couldnt have said it better... hehe. thanks carlo. btw, thanks for the help re: opening pic attachments through ia album
Guest Gecko Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 Has anyone tried using the distribution list feature in outlook that will let you add a contact name that contains all emails of different contacts. Do you think this will work for SMS?
