How to make a "GROUP" in the contact list???????

Hi all SPV Techies,, just want to ask how can i make a "GROUP" in my contact list. So that i will just select the "GROUP" instead of selecting individual contacts when sending mesages to many recipients. Please help.. thanks. :roll:

i've been exploring my SAP for days to have that function but unfortunately i could not find how it is done. maybe it can't.

i guess you cant (throught the SAP alone) The only way i did it is through Outlook.

Activesync your SAP to Outlook then go to contacts. Click the the name of your contact then just below the screen you will see categories, click it then create your own or erase some.

Hmmm. putting the selection into a category is one... but sending out a message to all recipients all at once choosing only one contact is another.

IA Caller ID has a better implementation of groups...

This works up to a certain extent but the drawback is that when you recieve an SMS or a call, the group name shows instead of the actual sender or caller.

All you have to do is put all the mobile phone numbers in the Mobile phone field... separated by a ";" for example, Mobile: 09181234567; 09171112223; 09201231234etc.

Has anyone tried using the distribution list feature in outlook that will let you add a contact name that contains all emails of different contacts. Do you think this will work for SMS?
