So i can't get out of the game or do anything else so when i have that i have to take out the battery to make it work again  Hope anyone has a solution :?:
Guest madu Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Doesn't sound like a common problem. I sometimes get this 'clock timer' square thingie in middle of scree. But usually after it goes (and I loose 1 point) it is fine. Though I think I had your problem once or twice. Long ago it was..
Guest Weerz Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 But do you have an idear how to make it go away i have the same problem as you but mine doesn't go away
Guest Gorskar Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Does this only happen with tennis addict, or does it happen in other apps/games also? Have you got Binarys Task Manager ? (http://www.binarys.com/smartphone/) If so use it to check how much memory you have free before running the game. Check the IPSMwindowsappmgrinstall (using something like smartexplorer) folder for any failed installations, and delete them.
Guest ozute Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 I am having the same problem. After I've been playing Tennis Addict for a little while, the round coloured 'clock' icon appears in the middle of the screen and it won't go away. You cannot control the player at all, and no buttons on the phone work at all, even the power button. The only way I can make it stop is to turn the phone off. Someone please help!
Guest ozute Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 A mate of mine just went and got a Qtek 7070 yesterday, and we put Tennis Addict on it and the same thing is happening. I have tried playing Toki Tori, and although the clock flashes in the middle of the screen briefly, it does go away and it doesn't lock the phone up. I've even tried closing all other applications to ensure nothing else is running in the background. Any ideas?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Did you install it on your Storage Card or on the phone!? How much space do you have left on your phone!? Did you run Quick Close or Task Manager just before you started the game!?
Guest ozute Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I installed the game on my storage card. The memory usage is listed below: Main Memory 5.6MB/12.5MB Storage Memory 0.41MB/2.0MB Storage Card 22.20MB/241.1MB IPSM 3.24MB/7.5MB I also used Resco Task Manager to close all tasks just before starting the game.
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Hmmm I'm stomped ... I play Tennis Addict all the time .. and haven't seen the clock of death yet! How long has it been since you did a hard reset!?
Guest ozute Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 I've never done a hard reset...I've only had the phone for 2 weeks or so
