Can anyone confirm that an unlocked E100 will work on Three

Hi people,

I am seriously tempted to get an E100 tomorow mostly i might add because of the wonderful community here.However i use the three network quite a lot and am fed up of the handsets dropping calls etc.I am fully aware that the majority of new handsets do not allow a three chip to work but i do know that once unlocked the SPV did allow this.My question is is there anything new on the E100 that would be likely to stop the Three chip working on o2 if i got it sim unlocked

Biggest problem with the new phones are the fact that you would need to downgrade the OS

as you cannot SIM unlock the newer versions at the moment.

So in that case and please forgive my stupidity once downgraded i could then use a three chip and effectively it would simply be an E100 with the ld spv software.Can you unlock it and then upgrade the software again or is this not possible

Yes and yes but the currant version on the E-100 is not released as a download yet.
