Guest hootie Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 i am new to this smartphone malarky and am having trouble with orange csd wap uk.before we go any furthur i have spent most of the morning using the search option but am unsure wether any of the advice given is related to my particular problem. anyway i am using wap not gprs and yesterday after i had finished a wap session i looked at the phone and the active data call icon was showing i ended the call again to see the phone connect again and again automatically. i have telephoned orange who were very helpul but could not solve the problem. at the moment all the settings for wap gprs and mms have been deleted from the phone. thanks for reading this and any advice would great cheers hootie
Guest goinnuts Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 the quickest and easiest way to get them back would be to ring 156, of your phone, and ask them to re send the settings. they should send you several sim updates. your phone should then ask you if youwish to save your stteings. just click yes.

I'm not sure what you have set for the 'Internet connection' but MSN Messenger will constantly try to open this connection if you have ticked the 'Run program when connection is available' option. Goto Programs - Microsoft - MSN Messenger Options - Passport Account Check to see if the box is ticked.
