Guest Skilty Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 I've got a few movies that will only play using Quicktime, I want to try and convert these movies but i'm having no joy using TMPGeng, Virtua-dub or Windows media encoder. Anyone got any ideas where i'm going wrong???
Guest Simon Desser Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 If you get Quick Time Pro, you can export the movie to avi, then use whatever you normally use to make it Smartphone friendly. Cheers Simon
Guest maromacs Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Posted from my SmartPhone! In combination with QTpro. maybe also in mpeg, but then you'll need pocketTV. Or Mp4 when you have Orange Media, that will play Mp4 files. I don't have windows stuff (working with MacOs 9.2, hopefully soon Os X) I am going to experiment with iMovie and export it as mpeg and or Mp4 (because of smaller file size)

If they're MOV files (Check properties) then there's a cool freeeware app called MOV2AVI which can make them any type of AVI you want (And your system supports :)). Let me know if you need a copy.
