Recieving SMS & voicemail notifications

Anybody been locked-out when your SPV been switched off overnight and ignorant people send voice + text messages to your phone?

I swear, it took some random key pressing to feel anything was alive in there :) Eventually came to life...but it didn't feel like a compleling user experiance!

Haven't seen that same problem exactly but something similar.

On occasion if I recieve an SMS overnight and then try to use the phone in the morning the only way to get the screen to come back on it by pressing the righthand soft-key.

I can only assume it has something to do with the function of this key changing to "Message" when the SMS comes in - and it seems to knock the other keys out when the phone is 'sleeping'.

Damn annoying and catches me out everytime time it happens! :)

Used to happen to me.

Now all I do is,

turn on my phone,

wait till the screen goes off (screen saver),

then start using phone.

a bit fustrating waiting all the time but seems to work everytime
