Guest Gorskar Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 Madbeetle Ltd have just released a number of titles to buy on Smartphone.net The titles are: Switch 2, an "Othello/Reversi Clone" priced $3.95 Smartpong 2, a "Breakout style game with an added twist" priced $3.95 ClearIT 2, a slurp type game priced $3.95 MadBeetle Games Pack 1 1, a complimation of the above 3 games priced $9.95 WorldTime 2, a rather nice looking world time clock priced $14.95 (Source: Smartgamer.org)
Guest Gorskar Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 More work to keep the software catalogue up to date  - think I'll leave these till the morning :) Back on topic, I'd recommend that Smartpong game. I have the version that came on the DAT group SD card, and its a lot of fun ;) - The World time clock looks very good also!
Guest midnight Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 errr, i dont know if anyone has noticed, but the version '2' seems a bit strange, all these games/apps are identical to the versions shown on madbeetle, which arent the second versions. A mess up by Smartphone.net?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 I've used the demo of World Time, very nice and useful for me :) And the above games are cool as well, my favoutite is Switch (ps I've only played the originals so not sure how improved these are)
Guest madbeetle Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 Its not a smartphone.net mistake, there are very minor changes to the games to get them through Microsoft logoing, and they picked up version 2 along the way. As well as these game/apps to buy you can get a free full version of Blocks (tetris clone) from www.madbeetle.com
Guest madbeetle Posted July 26, 2003 Report Posted July 26, 2003 Madbeetle have released analogue clock plugin, that displays your local time in analogue clock, as text, the date and internet time (@ time). Visit www.madbeetle.com or buy it from smarthpone.net or handango.com for $3.95.
