Ive tried several times but still the same probs...arrr....can someone help please.....?
Guest axe Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 have you tried converting different files ? maybe there's a fault in the audio stream in this particular file
Guest Renegade120 Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 With the odd file it works....but the majority of them all come up with this error..... I have noticed one thing tho....you know in the audio compressiojn bit... mpeg layer 3 is highlighted but a quality frequency isnt selected.... what should the box on the right with all the modes be set to.....? you know the box with the khz and the mono or stereo selection in it... thanks
Guest James Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 just a thought:- Do you have the correct Audio formats avalible in your settings?
Guest James Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 well... hummm.... do you have the Mpeg 3 option in your list
Guest Palindrome Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 When I've had the 'could not initialise audio stream' message popping up the best way to solve the problem is to do this: 1. Load in your vid to virtualdub and import clints' settings. 2. Go to Audio -> Conversion and click on the 11025Hz option under sample rate and make sure mono is selected. If you don't have the option of 11025Hz you can select the custom option and just enter 11025. 3. Save you vid in the usual way. Hope that helps.
Guest Renegade120 Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 aight man...ill try that...thanks for your help!
Guest leppam Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 I also got these error messages, just change under 'audio compression settings' in the menu the bitrate, i.e. 8 kb mono and then it just works. Good luck. Mark Appel
