Hi... first post!

My new E100 arrived this morning and I've spent most of the day finding cool stuff for it. Thanks, the guy who did the b3ta theme - loving your work!

I've also downloaded PocketMVP. I'm planning on ordering a 256MB SD card once I can find one at the right price - any tips most welcome - but at the moment I'm using the 8MB one that came with it. So I wanted the smallest possible audio file size.

I spent quite a long time finding this so I thought I should share it, it's a free Ogg encoder for Windows:

The download link on that page just takes you to a directory which includes several versions, including Linux versions, so for ease of use here are the direct links to the Windows versions:

Win 9x/Me

NT/2000/XP

Enjoy!

jlowap - and especially mods - I must apologise, I carded your last post by mistake! I was looking for the "Reply" button, sorry.

I found the Kingmax on ebuyer, which was cheap, but seemed to have bad reviews. Should I go for the PQI, which seemed to be better reviewed? Or is there really no difference?

My phone is app-unlocked now, and I'm just trawling the net for stuff to fill it with.

PQI are very good, we uses them in a VERY important application here at work.

i have a SanDisk, i have heard 1 or 2 bad stories about them. but mine have been fine.

software: try looking on www.monolithix.org for loads of stuff!!!!

I've got a 128MB Lexar jobby, never heard of them before but it's working fine for me - got a bargain in Dixons at Gatwick.

I thought SanDisk were supposed to be the best? Toshiba are part of the group that produce them...

BARGIN!! at DIXONS!

never!

Normally I would entirely agree although because they'd labelled the 128MB cards as the same price as the 64MB cards they let me have a 128MB card for the price of a 64MB one :-D

Can't remember to be honest... alhough the 64MB price wasn't cheap for a 64MB card but it certainly was for a 128MB!
