Guest Rolandml Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 Hello I have notice that when ever I change sim some settings on my GPRS for globe are missing is it normal?
Guest Jedi Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Yes. This is down to the sim and the network it is registered with. If you put a pay as you go sim in a contract phone or one set up to contract settings for example, the network will tweak the GRPS setting for that network. This is a common problem faced when someone has gone on holiday abroad and returned to the UK to find they sometimes have problems conneting again on the UK network. That is to say it is a known issue with GPRS but not wide spead. Jedi

Guest mariolouis Posted August 14, 2003 Report Posted August 14, 2003 if you are referring to gprs account settings, no it is not deleted when changing sim. must be a bug in your phone. i suggest you upgrade the rom of your phone.
