Boot Screen Freeze _ URGENT HELP REQUIRED

On the operator boot screen (Orange Sunset in my case) the phone just freezes dead.......

PLEASE HELP :cry:

I am new to this and have no idea what to do i need my phone urgently for work and i cant access it at all..!!

My computer wont sync with it or even recognise it and im lost

help please....

firstly try pulling the battery out the phone, and switching on again after 30 seconds.

if theres stil nothing then im afraid a * hard reset * is required, you will loos all your data, if you have been syncing your phone then you will be able to restore your contacts and email after hard resetting.

It sounds like your phone may have glitched :)

I would turn your phone off and charge it for a while (make sure battery is not too low). Then switch it back on and leave it on sunset screen for at least 5 minutes. If it still doesn't self restore then I would then try a hard reset from bootloader.

job sorted, Unfortunately a hard reset was required but like all good SPV owners i was synchronising with my home PC so havent lost too much, Just need to setup GPRS & Email and im back on track!!!

Hi.

I also had the problem with Boot screen Freeze. I did the hard reset and it didn't help me. I've tried booting without a sim-card and that did the trick for me.

I'm not sure that it wasn't the hard reset that did it but I think it's worth trying booting without sim-card (and with the sim afterwards off course) before hard resetting.

P.S. I haven't wrote much but I think this is a nice place for SPV-owners.
