I have only had my spv for about a month or so but already i've started to get keys that don't work unless you press very hard on them. Is this just me or is it somthing i could clear. Also the profile changes as well at random. it keeps saying headset when i've not even used the headset.

Any thoughts, thanks.

Hmm ... sticky keys seems to be a common problem, I think most ppl that can do get a replacement

For info on the headset profile problem, see here. Is that the only random profile problem? If not, prob worth mentioning that if the phone is on "automatic" profile, it will automatically adjust the profile so it's on silent when your agenda say's you're in a meeting etc. I guess that's only gonna be the issue if you use your calendar lots.

Hope that helps :?

Just received (at long last!) my C500 from Orange as an upgrade. As happy as I am to have got it, am at the same time disappointed that one of the soft keys is 'sticky', and just feels WRONG!

Can anyone advise which option is better: get a replacement phone through Orange (this may take some time considering the hassles I've had lately) or go straight to HTC (who, from what I've see on this site, offer very good service)??

Welcome to the site Bosh!!!

I had the sticky key thing and got in contact with HTC who managed to sort within 5 days, which was pretty cool. But if you have just got it, maybe its worth pestering Orange for a new one!! (I know I would!!! )

Here's their number, you have to call and then they send you a form, which you fill in and post back (with your handset of coures), and then "piff paff poof!!" a few days later, its back!!!
