So i was happily unlocking my "behind the times" colleague’s SPV today only to find that his vibrate function of the SPV was broken, as in not working at all.

When i spoke to him about this after unlocking it, he said "yea its been like that a few days" so i said you want to get orange to replace it... he said "can they do that coz its not insured" i then went on to tell him about the 1 year manufacturer warrenty, and to call orange and see about a replacement....

So he comes off the phone and says "yea you where right its still under warrenty but the bloke at orange told me they have no SPVs in stock (?) would i mind (mind i here you all cry (!!) ) if they sent me a e100 !!!!"

I was like jammy F*%k*r, i have yet to believe it but orange are sending a courer out tomorrow morning, to work, with the so called e100...

ill keep ya posted (lucky sod - if it turns out all good)

hating this! mut be a level of fault that dictates you get an e100 as replacement cause my SPV with hays now(should have arrived today).

Got told couldnt replace it and HAD to go to hays. Any of you reckon this varies depending on which CS tubby you get? Typical bad luck for moi! :-(

eyup - have you got Orange care? IF so, you should (I think) just be offered a replacement straight away and it should be up to O to sort out the warranty repair on your handset....
