Guest Pagemakers Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Apart from Bluetooth and a built in camara facility what does the 2003 OS mean to us end users? Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest Crispy Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 It should be ALOT faster and have the compact .NET framework. Therefore alowing developers to use C#.
Guest Crispy Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 "]Why should it be faster? I think I read somewhere that SP2003 would be 10 times faster (or something similar) ... Proberly just my mistake .. sorry  Edit: The article here: I've seen the Windows Mobile Smartphone 2003 in action and it is nice. This new version feels 30% faster than the 2002 version (according to the user). The boot time on this windows Mobile Smartphone and on my Nokia 3650 is almost the same. And the Vodafone logo wasn't there yet - just a round green thing with a text "Operator logo" to indicate where the logo will show up at boot time.
Guest Simon Desser Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Apart from Bluetooth and a built in camara facility what does the 2003 OS mean to us end users?Posted from my SmartPhone! I read somewhere it will support multiple email accounts, so that should be cool 8) (Oh, and it might EVEN have a fully working SMS counter  )
Guest midnight Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 i read it can talk and cook toast, would you like a cheese and ham brevel?
Guest midnight Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 oh and the built in camera has nothing to do with the os, look at the mitac mio 8380 as an example of a phone with built in camera on smartphone 2002 os.
Guest drblow Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Mmm... just read a thing here at the Orange developers forum. They seem hopeful for upgrading the current SPV!
Guest Crispy Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Mmm... just read a thing here at the Orange developers forum. And I, for one, would be VERY angry if my own, personal SPV was not able to move up to the next generation of Smartphone OS. Hehe, even the admins want 2003 on their's
Guest tormod Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 is there a differens betwin spv and gtek 7070? or is this the same thing...? if not, would it be possible to upgrade to 2003 on the gtek 7070 to? best regards tormod torgersen norway. ___ «Posted from my SmartPhone!»
