Guest nikjensie Posted July 26, 2003 Report Posted July 26, 2003 Is it possible to have a plug-in with specified shortcuts instead of the MRU? Niklas
Guest nikjensie Posted July 26, 2003 Report Posted July 26, 2003 Well.... thanks! But how do I implement that into this: <plugin file="sysplug.dll" clsid="{79EFB752-CB70-446d-B317-499723482B3D}" height="59"> <background b-border-width="0"> <format state="selected" valign="top" y="3" bgcolor="transparent" bgimage="IPSMApplication DataHomemisty2_applis_over.jpg"/> <format state="unselected" x="180"/> </background> <mru icon-size="32" max-buttons="1" valign="top" button-image="IPSMApplication DataHomemisty2mru.jpg" button-transparent-color="#FF00FF" x="3" y="2"/> <appname> <format state="unselected" x="180"/> <format state="selected" fgcolor="#FFFFFF" x="65" y="20" w="90" h="15"/> </appname> </plugin> </home> Original looks like this:
Guest drblow Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 I have tried several times to implement this shortcut plugin in my homescreen with no success at all! Can one of the gurus give us an idiots guide, please??
Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 Do you have an SPV or a Tanager? I just found out the shortcut plugin is different on the Tanagers. Thats why Midnight's homescreen Links do not work for everyone.
Guest drblow Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 It's an SPV m8! I just can't get it to work!! :x
Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 Sorry...I know what you are trying to do now....I think. I should always look higher in the thread. Are you trying to flip thru your specified shortcuts like you would in a masked MRU? I know you can list them across like an unmasked MRU...but I'm not sure if you can mask them to show one at a time. I certainly am not a guru on this....but I have never seen shortcuts masked before...just the MRU.
Guest priccijr Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 I have a shorcut bar on my home screen but you can't have the specified icon for the program to show up Celsol is the member that original had the shortcut on his homescreen and I imported it to my own. Here at the bottom of the homescreen: http://www.smartphony.org/geeklog/public_h...file.php?lid=41 Heres mine:
Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 What is the "Junior: is logged in" plugin????
Guest priccijr Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 That's the profile I changed the normal profile to my nickname. Anybody know what that triangle is before the G in the top bar????
Guest skanna Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 I too have imported the shortcut icon bar onto my homescreen from celious's original. I have tried to change the shortcuts to for example smart explorer, but a question mark appears as the icon instead of the normal icon on the mru bar. Had to change the shortcuts back to the originals as there were too any question marks-got confusing :?
Guest priccijr Posted August 3, 2003 Report Posted August 3, 2003 I asked Cel if you could change the icon for shortcuts and he said no. there are a few different icons in the OS but they are generic I think a MO member had checked all the number configurations for the shortcuts and there was like 12 or something. If you change the MRU shorcuts to what you want does the right icon show up in the MRU? Let me change my first sentence I think Cel said you could change them but they would revert back when you power cycle the phone.
