Yet Another E100 Unlock Question!!

Hi all,

I've just got my new Orange SPV E100 (so far I'm well impressed). I've tried to install a pgm called smartexplorer, but during installation, a error message appears about 'permissions'.

I've seen previous posts about unlocking the e100, but want to know if this is simply for using on other networks apart from Orange, or if this is something you must do before I can start modifying my E100 with .Cab files etc, etc?

Any help is welcome!!!!

Smart Explorer is an unsigned application and your phone is application locked.

To unlock the phone click on OTA for more information ;)

As for unlocking there are two types,

1, application unlocking (what you need to do) to run unsigned software

2, SIM unlock to unlock the phone to run on other networks.
