Guest elation Posted July 26, 2003 Report Posted July 26, 2003 Is it possible to port some old PC games to the SPV? I'm really interested in getting the following on my SPV: Castles (strategy from 1991) Grand Prix 2 (sports/driving from 1996) Player Manager 2 (sports from 1995) Air Bucks (simulation from 1992) AIV Networks (simulation from 1997) Airline Simulator 97 (simulation from 1997) Tracon for windows (simulation from1993) A-Train (simulation from 1992) Simtower (simulation from 1994) Theme Park (simulation from 1995) All are available at http://www.the-underdogs.org/ Sorry that there are so many there, but if someone could do a few of these or tell me how to get them to work on the SPV that would be brilliant! The majority of these games are tiny, below 5mb, I have a 64mb SD card so they should work if they can be ported.
Guest Gorskar Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 That would be nice, but the problem is that none of these games (that I'm aware) have the source code available, meaning any potential port would be starting from scratch! Of course most of the ports we already have started with winCE code, which is a lto easier to port.
Guest Brody Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Imagine Grand Prix 2!!! (drooooooool) :) Someone should beg to Geoff Crammond ;)
