Guest unclelimey Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 hi, i just got a replacement spv (canary) from orange.. when it put it in the cradle, the computer sees the phone and syncs ok, but when i click on explore, a message comes up saying "critical communications services have failed to start, please reset mobile device" i turned the phone off and on again, and also un-installed and re-installed active sync 3.7 on my pc, but i am still getting the same message, can anyone help as i cannot explore my phone... have i missed a setting somewhere? heres hoping thanks in advance

Guest unclelimey Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 thanks for pointing me in the right direction, i have fixed the problem, it was indeed to do with the firewall, i use zonealarm and the windows explorer was set to not allowed, i changed it and all is well again many thanks :)
