I can't get hold of 0.98 bootloader & need to unlock SIM

Hi, I've read all the threads about SIM unlocking, and I had done it prior to installing the 1.50 Swiss update, but now I'm stuck with a 0.99 bootloader and SPVUnlock gives me the dreaded Invalid Code message.

Is there any other way to get this working (I've tried a hard reset and putting the old Orange update back on) other than installing 0.98 bootloader?

If not, can anyone post the bootloader here as an attachment if it's possible to copy it to an SD-card using my SD-card reader?

Thanks in advance.

You have to have bootloader 0.98 or below to get the SIM unlock to work.

Go to www.monolithix.org to get the Orange update to do this :)

When you say I should go to Mono to do this, what do you mean? In my post I said I can't get hold of 0.98. Are you saying that site has it? If so I can't find it. Again, how can I unlock SIM if I can't get hold of 0.98?

Mono has the Orange update ie before v0.99 etc

That is what I used when I tried SIM unlocking on my spare the other day, now I have

a works SPV as well on Vodaphone :)

Also look around for the v0.93 This could be the one on mono's site (I'll check in a min)

the 93 version is better.

I have just downgraded (again) using the one from mono's site and IT IS v0.98

It's at the top of the download page as Orange Update
