SMS in Deleted items folder PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi all,

I have a SMS in my deleted items folder that will not go away.

Everytime I clear the folder one message always remains.

My phone decided to hard reset itself the other day and this didn't even sort out the problem.

Maybe I can go into the registry and delete it this way? :?

Can anyone help?????

have you checked the phantom sms thread ...

or try going into IPSM/MAPI dir then deleting all the files in there

Tried both of these solutions, but no joy. :)

The message in the deleted folder cannot be opened, just the heading remains.

Maybe another hard reset is the best.

Just can't be bothered to re-activate all my applications and unlock my phone again.

Any other ideas????

Rename cemail.vol and reboot? (This will nuke all current messages).

Thanks for the response.

I have Smartexplorer and dbview, but have found no option to rename in dbview.

Tried in Smartexplorer and it would not allow.

Am I doing something wrong or is there another programme that will allow me to do this??

PS also have PHM registry editor but can't find cemail.vol

cemail.vol is located in the IPSM folder :)

You can't remove characters from the name, but you can add them, eg cemail.vol1.

Reboot, go to your inbox and it should be recreated when you next check ISPM.
