I just buy the smartphone in Thailand and I would like to know Can I install the pocket PC sofware to our smartphone.

I like the TV remort software of pocket PC but I don't sure to install it to our phone.

The remote software wont work very well as the smartphone's IR is too weak so the range is poor. As a rule Pocket PC software has to be slightly edited to work on a smartphone to take into account the change in screen size and the lack of stylus so the answer is no, without any editing.

No, Pocket PC software cannot be installed on Smartphone, because the UI is very different (no touch screen on Smartphone).

But because the differences are mostly in the UI part of applications, many Pocket PC applications have been addapted for Smartphone, so you can often install the Smartphone version of the application (if it already exists).
