Guest Goutetsuu Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 is it possible to make an 'date' xml lug-in to appear next to the time on the home screen? having this would be useful, i know there is an analogue clock plug-in that shows the date but i would prefer just t have the date shown
Guest Richie M Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 Er the time plug-ins do show the date next to the time :?
Guest Goutetsuu Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 ah yes....silly me, how could i have missed that?!
Guest Goutetsuu Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 another embrassing question here, (i'm sure of it), with the plug-ins how do you install them onto your phone?? do you have to edit a file or what with each plug-in, my brain hurts and i'm getting terribly confused, someone please help :)
Guest ferret Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 I remember seeing a list of plugins on the forum somewhere, just hit search on the top. The phone comes with most of the plugins installed so all you have to do is call them in your .home.xml file. The custom plugins, written by modaco members etc, need to be installed onto the phone. There's also a guide on the MS website on how to create your own plugins. Hope this helps
Guest Goutetsuu Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 um understanding slightly, to call the piece of code in the home.xml file, where in the file should it go. and how exactly do you install it, do you need extra software?
