lost video capture

after unlocking my phone, i lost the application to use the camera in video mode. now, it only has the PICTURE MANAGER which can only shoot still pictures.

can anyone tell me how i can have the video capture again?

also, i'm using a globe post paid sim and i cannot use the gprs using the settings given in the other forums. i understand that these settings are only for prepaid. does anybody have settings for post paid?

i bet you used the orange uk update before unlocking your phone. if you did, you're screwed. all of the SMART settings for calls, SMS, GPRS, MMS as well as ActionUpdate and ActionBackUp and other applications won't work. unless you're good at fiddling with the registry of your phone, I suggest you go to your nearest smart wireless center and have them clean install the smart us version. the only drawback is that your phone will be locked again and will remain so until someone develops a SIM Unlocker for ROM version 1.50

If you still want an unlocked phone, there's a thread here somewhere that discusses re-locking your phone and downgrading your ROM to remove the orange settings. But as I said, this takes a bit of knowledge and know how.

on the contrary, it's easy. just do a search for rom 1.3.7.8

download and update again. voila! you're back to the out of the box SMART setup without the SIMLOCK. :)
