Guest summie Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 Now I've just downloaded the Matrix Reloaded XML doc Thanks to the designer Now I just wanna push the boat out here just to see if it is possible to change this screen slightly. Firstly- although I love the Matrix - I feel as though my phone doesn't need to be branded by the logo Secondly - now this is the challenge - the original designer used the as a background a 'screenshot' of the matrix characters that trickle down the screen in the film. Wouldn't it be great if it actually trickled down the SPV screen?!?!?!? Thirdly - you could also tell me this is impossible - even witht he LCD plug in Kind regards Darren
Guest MECX Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 dont think so mate---phone doesnt support moving gifs and thats the only way i can think of doing it :?
Guest evilminky Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 it does support moving gifs check www.coolsmartphone.com downloads and its in the mms section
Guest nickcornaglia Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 "Now all that is needed is for someone to develop an app to display an animated GIF in the background after .. say.. 30 seconds. " Now that only says you can view gifs in MMS....not anywhere else on the phone. Including Homescreens and PIE.
Guest midnight Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 that would kill the battery you mean :)
Guest Mr_Protozoa Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 That too! Maybe if it only activated when the phone was docked?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 The Asterix homescreen has a pot which changes color when docked. Using LCD plugin. So to some degree it is possible. But to implement it in Matrix homescreen with a rainshower of green letters would probably be very difficult. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest TANKERx Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 that would kill the battery you mean :) Too right! The Series60 phones have an excellent app called Extended Profiles. It provides some kickass functionality, included animated homescreens, but turning that on really wipes the battery out in no time at all, even with the special power saving functionality. Still looks cool though, so if it came for the SPV, I'd consider it.
Guest MECX Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 it does support moving gifs check www.coolsmartphone.com downloads and its in the mms section i stand corrected. i would use this to show off as im not far from a charger alot of the time. 8)
Guest Trancedancer Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 When viewing the calender with Matrix Reloaded Theme enabled, much of the information is black...hasn't anyone else seen this or is my phone strange???
Guest Posted September 18, 2003 Report Posted September 18, 2003 Thought I'd bump this back to the top of the pile to see if anyone is working on this, as personally, I would give my left knacker to see a trickling Matrix homescreen on my SPV - battery life be damned! ;)
Guest blewer Posted September 18, 2003 Report Posted September 18, 2003 You could always use Pocket candy. Matrix looks fine on my phone.
