help re: sound record app

I was wondering re the sound Manager app, I ve had in my phone for months but dont really know what it does, I know the amr files cant be used as ringtones (unless converted to .wav) and I read in a previous thread that it was supposed to be a dictaphone app, but on my phone It only records for about 3 seconds and then stops and converts the file to AMR, any body know how ? and what the program is used for?

It's for use with mms :)

you can also make tunes if you choose MenuiMelody this file is saved as a .imy file

Once you have saved your sound clip go to Inbox/SMSNewMMS then press EditSound and you will see your saved sound clip ready to be used.
