Guest detailmeister Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 I've been using active sync for a while now to happily copy contacts and archived email messages over to my phone from Outlook. However I've just found that I can't sync the inbox, drafts or sent items folders... I downloaded an email using GPRS and want to copy it onto my computer. (I went through the disabling/re-enabling the Active Sync / POP3 bit). And now I've lost the sodding email I wanted in the first place, as through trying to copy it, it's dissappeared. To recap, the only thing I can sync is emails in non-standard folders, contacts and tasks. Why? :? Thanks anyone who can sort this... detailmeister.
Guest James Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 have you tried going to Active sync on the phone then selecting options/inbox? i dont use it but it might help you...
Guest detailmeister Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 I looked on the phone at the options for inbox, and set them to sync. But that didn't work either. I think it tried to then sync to a server at that point, and removing that meant I lost my messages.... Surely someone does this all the time? thanks for trying though
