Guest djdino Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Hey there guys I'm new to this forum, I'm from Sydney Australia. I currently own a Nokia 8910i but am looking to buy a Smartphone. I'm just a little confused about the difference of them. I'm currently looking on EBAY and notice that there are: QTEK 7070 Orange SPV/SPVX Some of these phones have an ORANGE logo on the top right corner of the phone and others have QTEK or SMARTPHONE Im starting to think that the 7070 is the newer model.. But the main reason I'm posting this topic is to find out what the difference is between them? If I purchase the ORANGE phone, does that mean I can only use the phone if I'm with ORANGE NETWORK? Also, is the software different between these phones or do they all have the same functions, programs, games, colours blah blah blah Thankyou in advanced! Regards DiNo
Guest Richie M Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 the 7070 and SPVx are the same phone (often refered to as Tanager) the SPVx being the more recently released. The Orange phones can be sim unlocked. The SPV is basically the older version of the above, and the phone most MoDaCo members have.
