i´ve found the mitac mio boot menu - decerting possible!

hold the down and the power button until the blue screen is on. move trough the menu with the up-down buttons, use the record button as enter. in this menu you have access to the rom and you can delete, update and dump the files! the way is free for decerting :twisted: :)

Can you post some pictures ? It could be easy to decert if the IPSM can be restored from a dump :)

(and a ROM dump would be very interesting too of course :wink:)

hummm this is huge???? + and exernal ariel? check it against the 7650??

it looks bout the same size as the nec e606???

no, it's useless if you don't have a way to put the dump back in the device (and don't have many time to spend on another kind of exploit of course) :wink:

just looked at joe's video review - seems that there is an application to make a phone backup/restore on the SD - care to see if this includes the registry ?

Anyone had any luck in this? I could use my Mio 8380 to test if needed.

I can't seem to get the BLUE SCREEN BOOT MANU. When am i meant to hold the power button? Whn i hold to power button, it just switch the phone off and restarts it.
