Guest Paul [MVP] Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Contrary to earlier reports, we can reveal, exclusively, that the Maxon MX E-20 will not be based on the Microsoft SmartPhone operating system! The MX-E20 is a single processor solution based on the Intel PXA800F GSM processor with Nucleus Operating System. It runs 312 MHz, has 32 MByte of flash, 16 MByte of RAM. The display technology is TBC, but is controlled by an MTechVision interface chip. USB support is available at the system connector. The handset will also have an integrated camera, video player and run Java. Have to say, still sounds like a *very* cool device! :) P
Guest Gorskar Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 ... but if its not based on MS Smartphone I wont be buying it!
Guest Rob.P Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Another OS into the fray, or is it that one based on Symbian?
