Guest Raify Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Just been shown this great site with loads of wavs from old tv shows: http://www.jvsplace.co.uk/themesa.htm I've just listened to the CHiPS theme tune for the first time in 15 odd years! Apologies if it's been posted before.
Guest JoelRae Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 That's quite a collection ... a lot I haven't ever heard of though ... CHiPS???? Showing my age I guess :)
Guest Raify Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Don't know CHiPS?? I think I'm showing my age!! Think of an extremely tanned and camp Cagney and Lacey on motorbikes!
Guest JoelRae Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Did the motorbikes fly with 6 inch wings that popped out of the wheels, or is that a different vague recollection from my childhood? :)
Guest Raify Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 That sounds like the last series of Battlestar Galactica where they finally found earth and had these really cool bikes that turned into space ships! Blimey, I think I watched too much telly when I was young!
Guest dinoalbert Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 CHIPS... Erik Estrada, right? i missed that too!!! :)
Guest jmjarvis Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 Streethawk ahhhhhhhhhhh Now there's a blast :)
Guest Carnivore Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 That's a very nice site. I finally found a knightrider tune without that guy brabbeling through it. Problem is, its not compatible with my SPV somehow? Do i have to convert it somehow? I am talking about the knight_rider_pilot.wav Or, if someone else has it or can do it for me, post it here :) Thanks
Guest Raify Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 Wav's are compatible, all you need to do is copy the wav to: IPSM/Application Data/Sounds (create sounds folder if you need to). NAthan

I am talking about the knight_rider_pilot.wav Or, if someone else has it or can do it for me, post it here :) Thanks The file is a wav file, but you're right, it's in the wrong format for our phones. It is an "ACM" wav, which I think uses mp3 type compression (hence the small file size) I've converted it to a "PCM" wav which will now work, only problem is the file is now massive in comparison.Knight_Rider_pilot.zip
Guest Carnivore Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 That's ok, i dont mind. Thanks a lot Simon
Guest godboy Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 goodsite... but i converted to pcm and lost half the tune, whatdid ido wrong
Guest morpheus Posted August 3, 2003 Report Posted August 3, 2003 Here ya go m8.... Unzip this and put it in IPSM>APPLICATION DATA>SOUNDS or even better, download Midnight's "NORMAL" profile and install it so you can use ringtones/alerts from the storage card. Morpheus PS You won't need the whole file, so cut it down a bitKnight_Rider_pilot2.zip
