regions/versions/releases/operators/confusing ?????

okay, so here's a quick quesiton...

different regions have different versions of code....

NL is up to 1.5.whatever

UK is up to something else...

CH is sitting in the middle (as usual)

i'm in Australia (haven't seen a piece of operator code labelled as AU yet though !!) and on version 1.4.2.46

what will happen if i upgrade to a NL version ? a UK version ? how do i get a 1.5.whatever version for AU ? does anyone even know where Australia is ?

also, where is the upgrade process documented ? do i lose all the information in the phone ?

and how do i get a more recent build of smartphone 2002 ? i'm on 13101 at the moment... is there a newer build ?
