Guest dennis1st Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Hello friends! I am a new user of the Smartphone. Iam planning to do a hard reset because I bought a 128 mb sd card. Is it advisable to install all the programs to the sd card, like smart explorer, task manager, quickclose, sms tools, midnight's speed tweaks? I want to free up the memory of my phone so that it will have more speed and prevent hang ups. please advise.
Guest StylishLemur Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 go ahead, mate. you will get used to it as you will have to do a lot often!! nothing is scary. only one issue is application certificate
Guest Swift_gti Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 BE CAREFULL!! I done a hard reset earlier on, because my phone is going in for repair so I thought I'd clear everything off for them, anyway: When you add contacts into the phone book they are saved to the phone not the sim, which i didn't realise hence now I have to re-enter all my contacts again. This time I'm entering them through SIM Manager so they are saved to the sim not the phone.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Just make sure you activsync your contacts with Outlook that way you won't lose your contacts :) Also moved to Help and Advice
Guest kallep Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 if the decert site is runing just go ahead..!
