Guest Brody Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Follow the PPCW link above! Finally a smartphone with a headset adaptor and memory card cover! Say goodbye to dust and stuck headset profile problems :)
Guest sebset Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 I think this phone is only a test for AT&T. I think Chi Mei could sell this ODM smartphone like HTC did it with the Canary. Later in 2004, Motorola could decide to sell its own branded smartphone including SP2003 + bluetooth + camera. And like industrial sources say, this next smartphone will be (also) manufactured by Chi Mei. Just my thought.
Guest smartphone-web.com Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 I think this phone is only a test for AT&T. According to different sources the Chi Mei Beethoven will be launched by Motorola as V700 in the third quarter, possibly for AT&T Wireless Services.
Guest moonsmoto Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 This product will launch as a Motorola. I have held the product in my hand yesterday.....They will probaly call it MPX200 or MPX-1
Guest sebset Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 I found this post in a US forum: http://www.wirelessadvisor.com/waforums/me...word1=mpx%20200 I just go off the phone with AT&T wireless migration department about changing over to the GSM service. They have informed me that they are coming 0ut with about 4 new phones over the next couple of months. One the ones they mentioned was a motorola mpx 200. I called moto and they said they have not heard of that phone. has anyone out there know anything about this phone or has anyone seen it. I have checked the moto website nothing menitons the mpx 200 And this in a US info-site: http://www.itp.net/news/105879877479210.htm Also to be launched are the MPx200, a feature-rich device with 65k colour display, Outlook, email, calendar and expandable memory, as well as the tri-band V300 and the V500, which, along with the V600, is expected to go into the shops late in Q3.
Guest midnight Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 i seriously douibt it will be called the v700 as that is a motorola pager :) and the motorola mpx200 series are motorolas silicon pressure sensors, so i doubt it will be called that aswell (in fact i think the MPX range is Motorola Pressure X-Ducer)
Guest sebset Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 This product will launch as a Motorola. I have held the product in my hand yesterday.....They will probaly call it MPX200 or MPX-1 Are you working for Chi Mei, Motorola or Microsoft? Are your info reliable? regards
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 Why is everyone branding pics that are available on the FCC site unbranded? Madness! P
