au revoir SPVNews and SmartGoodies

It seems the French sites SPVNews and SmartGoodies have decided to close down :cry: Smartphony.org even received a statement from Romain Batlle (head of Smartphone project in Orange France) expressing his sadness at these closures. :shock:

Just wondered if anyone has any comments on the significance of losing these two SPV dedicated sites.

A sad loss for our French Smartphoners (can i pen that term?)

I never went to the sites as I only speak English and badly at that :)

But a loss anyway.

I used to visit SPVNews.com and it was huge site that was great for reference material. Unfortunately its all gone now but I did manage to translate the front screen before it disappeared and Cyberb0b's message seemed to indicate that it was no longer financially possible for him to keep the site open.

It's a crap (google) translation - but you get the idea.

Expensive all, Faute of time and means (the more numerous you are, plus Ca me coute in band-width), I decided To close spvnews.com definitively. 

Reasons its multiples, 

1 I thus do not exploit any more the SPV my flame tarnishes somewhat 

2 I miss time and nobody proposes to thus help me I cannot assume the news any more (thank you qd even has JCINFO of smart-expert for these some news. 3 in spite of the proposal of donnation (but typically in conformity with French mentality) I offer a service which me coute of the money and time and which does not enable me any more to continue without losing too much of my poor purse well on the site does not have vocation to become a commercial site, but I will have preferred that it me coute nothing or the least possible. 

I thus thank you all for the intéret which you carried to site which will close its doors Thursday evening definitively and I invite you all to go to water you infos on, to my taste, the best site on the smartphones francçais some: Directed Smartphony.org of an iron hand by Galaga and its team. 

you will find there all which you need including the tutoriel that I provided him, all help, the softwares and the news on the smartphones under OS microsoft.
