Guest Phooey Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Hi got me new e100 other day and don't want to go down the route of having a scratched screen.. was browsing the dell website and saw these screen protectors for the axim pda and wondered what the general concencus of opinion was and whether these would do a good job of protecting the screen OR if anyone knew of anything similar and maybe slightly cheaper? the screen details for the axim are: Display : TFT Colour 16-bit, Touch Sensitive, Transflective LCD 3.5 inches 240 x 320 resolution at 65,536 colours (QVGA) so i guess the covers could be cut down to size (with some stern words and a good telling off!) dunno, all thoughts are welcome - here's the link for Dell Axim Accessories Phooey
Guest Vector Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 There is a long thread here about protecting the screen :) If you try a Search plenty of results will come up :o
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 Thanks for bringing the topic back up, as our new members may not be aware of the screen protector solution :)
Guest mattscholey Posted October 2, 2003 Report Posted October 2, 2003 Has anyone tried trimming down the screen protectors, to fit the SPV screen. Does it work, and how do you do it? What did you use? Please post some sort of guide. Thanks, Matt
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Just buy a PDA screen protector (you buy them in packs) and cut it to size and stick it on. That's it really ;)
