Some thoughts on the SPV, and some thanks!

I've had my SPV for almost 8 months now and thought I'd like to give a little review on quite simply the best and most frustrating gadget I've ever owned.

I have to admit, my first impressions weren't very good, small keys, slightly large, poor battery life and awful text features. I mean it couldn't even receive ordinary picture messages that all my Nokia owning buddies took for granted, how little did I know!

But the screen was fantastic, it's memory awesome (for a phone) and then I discovered all it's other features, proper tunes as ringtones, different homescreens, proper games, windows media player, the internet, the list goes on and on. It was really bought home to me when a bunch of us visited the imperial war museum, we all got split up so someone rung me! I hadn't even thought about it, but I had In the Mood by Glen Miller as my ringtone, well if there was ever a right place to have that tune come blaring out of your phone, it was then. It suited the occasion and place perfectly, and no-one was glaring at me, like they use to with my old Nokia!

Which brings me on to this forum, I knew nothing about the phones capabilities before I came here (some would say that I still don't :) ), it is superbly run, easy to use and very inviting to a novice so I would like to say a big thankyou to Paul, all the moderators, and everyone else who contributes, it simply the best forum on the net! :o

Lastly, yes the phone does have it's frustrations, but I try to remember that it is the first of it's kind and can only get better, and it will! :P

So sorry about the length of the post, just thought I'd have my say, cheers everyone!
