MMS Sending. Strange thing happenz

I hope anyone can help here... :shock:

When I send an MMS I get the window where its connecting to gprs and sending, but when it looks like everything is going good 8) , an alert message comes up :roll: : Message sending failed, stored in drafts.

But all my messages goes through, so the message is just annoying :evil: .

Does anyone know where to find this problem in the registry :?: Or getting rid of it in another way :?:

Do you have MMS enabled on your account?

Also very few problems are to do with the registry as such unless you have played with it :)

Yes I have MMS enabled correctly, my MMS comes through, but the phone says NO :roll:

Haven`t played with this in the registry.

To be sure they come through I have enabled feedback on it so I can be absolutley sure.

It`s just annoying.

Sounds like it could be a bug, It's a bit drastic to suggest a hard reset but I'm curious to know if it

affects what is happening. you seem to have some strange quirks with your other MMS post :?

Can you list what your phone,update version and bootloader is?

Tried Hard Reset sometimes, same thing. Somtimes it freezes to :shock:

It does appear to be a bug of sorts as a friend of mine told me of the same problem today

(he has an SPV with the first update and keyboard update.)

Try this and see if it works

He claims that he has this problem when sending to a number using the international format ie +44 in the UK

but if he send an MMS using the local format replacing the +44 with 0 the problem does not happen.

Give it a go and let me know what happens.

And as for your questions

Your bootloader is new but your update is old(ish) one below the latest.

As for updates you can use DK (it's older than your version) but the official line here is not to use other countries updates as they are not designed for your country. It's your choice :)

One can also get the message when attemtping to send MMS from one provider to another (for instance) here in the Philippines. Smart does not allow sending MMS to Globe. I think they might in the future, as in the beginning, they didn't even allow SMS text between networks, and now, of course, they do.

It`s not the tele operators. Sending between them is all good.

Ah figured this one out :)

Went to Settings :arrow: Telephony :arrow: Call options :arrow: Changed Country code to 0047 (47 is Norway).

No more worries 8)

Any news to the MMS problem? And when will a norwegian update be availabe? I hope it will come soon.

And is it possible to use the danish update/upgrade? I would like to have norwegian letters on my phone.

Posted from my SmartPhone! Bugger:-( The MMS problem decided to come back. Need to push some more buttons:-) The Norwegian update is just around the corner if they at idedata.no is right. Look for updates there.
