Guest deniselll Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 Pocket tv wont work either. How do I convert to wmv??? Is there a converter somewhere?? :)
Guest dinoalbert Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 its POcketMVP, not Pocket TV..........PocketMVP is fot avi / divx video format. If it still doesnt work, try re-encoding with virtualdub. Or do a search for the discussion on PocketMVP:)
Guest Xander Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Download the latest converter at www.virtualdub.org. Then look around the forum for ClintEastman's settings to convert to a format suitable for the SPV screen. (sideways fullscreen!!!)
Guest deniselll Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 thank you guys!!!! I'll try those soon as i get home! :o :) :P
Guest deniselll Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 hey guys, i downloaded the Pocket MVP and i still cant get my avi files to work. When i start to open my video files from my MMC the small box with the rotating color wheel only appears at the center of my SPV screen and no image comes out. any suggestions? :)
Guest spv_dman Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Might be the quality of the video is too high for your phone to play. Try encoding the avi to pocketpc standard quality, around 100kbps video and 48kbps audio. You need another application for this like Dr. DivX.
Guest deniselll Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 so where can i get this dr.divx? if you would be so kind sir? :)
Guest spv_dman Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 I forgot the site already. Just use google to search for it :)
Guest deniselll Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 another thing bro, even the music files it wont play... from the other forums i've read, they say the MVP can.
Guest spv_dman Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Yup if it's mp3. Dunno what's wrong with your phone if it can't play mp3s :?
Guest deniselll Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 its MP3 my man. Anyways, there's still the Media player to take care of that. I'm just so frustrated now to playing those avi files that I have. I doubt that the video files that i have is of higher requirements or resolution because its source came from a phone too. I just beamed the file to my phone.
Guest smartrey Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Pocket TV wont work either. How do I convert to wmv??? Is there a converter somewhere?? :) Try to use the MS Windows Media Encoder it is a free software and you can download it at microsoft.com .
