Guest karanlohia Posted August 3, 2003 Report Posted August 3, 2003 How Annoying is the SMS space button on the SPV - On every phone ever made the '0' button is for spaces but on the SPV it is the '#' button. IS there any way to change this? Thanks Karan

And personally i consider the multitap of T9 a bug: ie when you've got t9 on, and you want to type "b", why do you have to: 1. press 2 [types 'a'] 2. press 0 [types 'c'] 3. press 0 [types 'b'] surely multitapping in order of a,b,c makes more sense then a c b? t9 is such a pain so often.... thank god for e100 keypad. V
Guest spootyguy Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 vijay555, the whole point of t9 is that it predicts which letter/word you are more likely to use. Press 3 and 'e' will show up because it is the letter used the most out of d e and f (and the rest actually). Your problem here is with the person that programmed the dictionary that made the decision that 'a' and 'c' are used more than 'b'... which was probably based on actual research anyway.
