Guest MECX Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 OH and my dreams came true---this is very very cool!!!!! ive been trying to convince people that my phone is the best thing since sliced bread but they didnt listen---now when my phone goes-''Your smartphone has a new message would you like to read it now'' they all suddenly became much more interested thanks alot man top work :) :o
Guest MECX Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 by the way just incase people dont know heres how to change the battery noise first you will need PHM Registry Editor with this navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Sounds/lowbattery once you have clicked on lowbattery click the left softkey for 'values' and click on 'Sound' in the value data you can change the name of the file if its in the same directory as the old sound if you want it on the storage card type this Storage CardBattery low vocoded.wav case of letters and the first slash are important. or Storage CardSMSringersBattery low vocoded.wav if you put the sounds in a folder 'SMSringers' on your storage card. (this works for the other sounds in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Sounds but i would backup your registry and dont fiddle with other stuff as your could mess your phone up) :)
Guest Brody Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Surely such a sound will kill the battery once it is low!? :) Seriously though, nice work!
