SPVLife2 - Amoeba

hi all

this is a variant on the SPVLife I released at the weekend

it creates a 30x30pixel random organism in the center of the screen, and then uses a variant on the John Conway rules called 'Amoeba' to develop

sometimes it dies real quick, sometimes it grows to fill the screen, sometimes it says the same sort of size, moving slowly around the screen

keystroke: that is indeed a distinct possibility :)

I'm trying to decide if there is a good reason/demand for creating such an experimental thing, or wether I should just keep this stuff for my own enjoyment

at the moment I'm not decided, but I'm not discounting the possibility of making a full test lab program containing all sorts of autonoma stuff

we'll see

Heh, just tried them both. I can see what everyone was saying about the first one being mesmerising... The second one is making some pretty cool shapes.
